Kendall Yang

Intern

đź’¬ English & Mandarin

I believe therapy is a collaborative and evolving process—a space where two people meet with openness, curiosity, and care. To me, it’s not just about helping you “feel better,” but about walking alongside you as you make sense of your experiences, navigate emotional challenges, and uncover your own strengths.

I see each therapeutic relationship as a unique journey we take together. It’s an experience of mutual growth—one where your voice leads the way, and I support it with empathy, reflection, and gentle structure. My approach combines person-centered values with cognitive-behavioral strategies, allowing us to both explore deeply and move toward meaningful change. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or seeking clarity, I will be here with you—attuned, respectful, and fully present.

I offer therapy in both English and Mandarin. I hold a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Connecticut and am currently pursuing my M.A. in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness at NYU. As an international student from China, I bring a deep appreciation for multicultural perspectives and the diverse experiences each client carries.
